Here I am at the Colloseum in Rome. A few weeks later in our trip we saw the film
Gladiator which they based on some of the blood sports that took place here.

Lapping it up with the stars! Yeah sure. We took a day trip from Nice to visit Cannes. It's the day after the film festival finish and everyone is packing up. Didn't see anyone famous, but then everyone wears sunglasses so you never know just who you're walking past.

Another day trip from Nice took us to Monte Carlo. It's a week or two before the big Grand Prix
race and there are barricades and bleachers being set up everywhere.
